Bring the required documents and speak with our blood bank staff directly.
Hand in the requisition form along with the patient’s details and supporting documents.
Our team verifies the request, the patient’s blood group, compatibility and the availability of the required component.
Cross-matching and mandatory laboratory checks are carried out wherever applicable, to keep the patient safe.
Once verification and testing are complete, the blood or component is issued to the authorised person.
Blood components are issued as per Government regulations and applicable service charges. For the current approved service charges by component, please contact the Blood Centre directly — rates are periodically revised by regulation.
Every unit of blood collected undergoes mandatory screening for transfusion-transmitted infections as required by Government of India regulations, before it is ever issued. Where available, we prioritise issuing NAT-tested blood — Nucleic Acid Testing detects certain infections earlier than conventional screening, adding a further layer of safety for the patient receiving it.
